Jalpaiguri Vivekananda Education Society (JVES) is a Non-Governmental Organization registered under the West Bengal Societies Act, 1961 incorporated in 2002 to provide educational support for marginalized people and young bright students. The key objective of the society slowly culminated towards skill enhancement of the small and marginal farmers which became essential to form the foundation of a strong healthy society. We observed it is high time that something needs to be done to bring life back to nature, provide a positive livelihood impact and sustain our biodiversity.
With this approach, the founding members came across many like-minded people and the team evolved with participation from experts in sustainable farming practices, environmentalists, entrepreneurs and community leaders.
The organization is bestowed with a young and diverse team who are open to accepting and adapting to the changes happening all around us & we have collaborated with several organizations, research institutions & universities, progressive farmers, etc. To bring these path-breaking technologies and innovative solutions to help preserve our biodiversity, approach food production sustainably and merge innovative tech-driven solutions with Vriksha Ayurveda practices.
